Playing HARRY POTTER FUNKOVERSE Is Like Winning the House Cup

Accio, Funko! Funkoverse, the upcoming strategy game with mini Pop! figures you won’t find anywhere else, comes in all sorts of flavors: DC Comics, Rick and Morty, and even The Golden Girls. But if the flavor you love the most is Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans, grab your wand and get ready to apparate into Harry Potter Funkoverse.

Diagon Alley and the Room of Requirement await when you pick up the base Harry Potter Funkoverse game. Inside the magical box, you’ll also find four figures, Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Lord Voldemort, and Bellatrix LeStrange. Each bears their own wand along with attacks and a special ability that can turn the tide in a challenge. Harry specializes in Expelliarmus, for example, and Voldemort throws Fiendfyre at his opponents. (He doesn’t cast Avada Kedavra, luckily, so you’re safe from the Killing Curse in the Funkoverse.)

If you have more than four witches and wizards sitting around the game table, pick up the “Expandalone” to play Harry Potter Funkoverse with a total of six players ages ten and up. You’ll add new locations of The Forbidden Forest and the Potions classroom, along with adding Draco Malfoy or Ron Weasley to your team. They’ll be valuable assets in your fight against good or evil. That’s right, Ronald, it’s your time to shine, as you can see for yourself in the Harry Potter Funkoverse episode of Game the Game with Becca Scott and friends.

Speaking of Becca, if you’re ready to learn the rules behind this wonderfully fun new game, let her teach you How to Play faster than you can say Wingardium Leviosa. (Note that the rules and gameplay are the same no matter which pop culture characters you have in the palm of your hand.)

Harry Potter Funkoverse is ready to pre-order at TargetWalmart, and GameStop now.

Which side will you be on, Team Harry or the Death Eaters? Tell us why in the comments.
