Inside the Box is a comedy tabletop game series, bringing their favorite board games to life with a mix of visual FX, cinematic presentation, and an alarmingly immature sense of humor.
Dinosaur Island from Pandasaurus Games is a euro-style worker placement game for 1-4 players. Each player is given full control of their very own dinosaur theme park. You’ll compete with other players to secure DNA from amber deposits, sequence genomes for exotic dinos, and build up your lab by breeding dinosaurs. As your park develops and expands, visitors will be lining up to see your fantastical attractions, but unless you manage your security and threat level, your dinos may escape and you may find yourself with a few less patrons. Whoever can manage their park the best will gain fame the world over and those that don’t may find themselves– extinct.
When the ITB crew are offered a chance to play a mysterious new game, they jump at the opportunity. The game is incredible, but famed designer Jon Gilmour may have ulterior motives. His experimental plastic dinosaur meeples are incredibly lifelike, even moving of their own accord– but are they safe? As the game goes on, it quickly becomes apparent that the danger is much greater than they imagined and after a minor oversight the dinosaurs, and all hell, break loose.
